I will explain to all, who do not know, exactly what Holy Joe’s Café is & what it does.
Holy Joe’s is a non-profit organization that gathers up bags of coffee which is then sent to our military, all over the world. They ask that the coffee be only in bags, only regular (no decaf or flavors) & only ground. (no beans) You can use Holy Joe’s “in lieu of gifts.” If you have a retail shop you can choose a category designated to Holy Joe’s where people can purchase items, profits going to purchase the coffee or bring the coffee in yourself. How you choose to gather it is up to you. Our Lady of Loreto Church, in Waterbury, for example, is a collection point. Bring it to Loreto yourself or it
will get to the distribution point through the collector. (You can find a distributor close to you)
It may be a little way to thank our military, but it is appreciated in a very big way. After all, if people are willing to die for you, the very least we can do is offer them a prayer & a good cup-o-Joe. Sempre America

Why we need a God . I believe we need a God in our lives to keep us kind & to insure that we do not become so self-centered, that we forget that in a heartbeat, our worlds can be turned up-side-down. We need a God to pray to when there is no place else to turn but to someone bigger than ourselves. It doesn’t matter what name we call Him as long as we believe that, without A spirit of good, we will not be better a people & we will not treat others as we wish to be treated. Goodness, kindness & wishing others well are of the utmost importance in order for civilization to be civil. I pray that we can all hold on to that spirit of good, in a society that appears bound & determined to out-law it out of us. I hate to think of a world where there is no stop-gap between good & evil. I know it’s pretty simple logic. But love & belief are only as complicated. as we want them to be. I opt for simple
